Turing Machine Simulator

I wrote this simulator as a hands-on aid for students in FLAC 1998 (Formal Languages, Automata, and Computability theory class that I TA'ed.) It proved to be extremely educational, and I know that several other people successfully used it in their classes.

Download the sources of the simulator, unpack it and read the instructions on how to compile and run this program. Let me know if you find a bug or otherwise have any problems with it.

turing-1.3.tar.gz Allows specification of `unlimited' number of steps: yourmachine("011",100,unlimited). Also, it can count many billions of steps for busy beaver functions.
turing-1.3.tar.gz (11/10/98) New command line options `-q' (print only the first and the last configuration), `-qq' (don't print tape at all), and `-version'.
