Peripheral Vision Trainer

This program is designed to train your peripheral vision. Click on the Start button and keep looking at the Start button while the digits flash on both sides of it briefly. Type the digits you've seen into the answer field and check it. You need to type all the digits as one number (no spaces - sorry, I'm lazy :-). So, if you've seen 67 and 34, then type 6734. You can change the time delay, the number of digits, and how wide apart from each other the numbers should be in the appropriate fields.

Note: this page runs completely locally in your browser with javascript (which must, of course, be enabled). Nothing gets submitted back to the server.

Note to users of old netscape: if numbers do not appear at the same distance from the center, you have to tell netscape to use fixed fonts for the text fields (don't ask me how!). Netscape 4 and older does not understand CSS and I'm using a hack to pad the numbers with spaces, which only works when the space character is of the same width as the numbers.

OK, enough of introduction. Enjoy the trainer!
